Automated Intake currently has live integration with Tekmetric. Support for Shop-Ware, Mitchell1, AutoLeap, ShopMonkey, and Protractor is in development. The extension also works standalone with clipboard export for any system.
During the current pilot, yes — you provide your own Deepgram and Anthropic API keys. They're entered in the extension popup and stored locally in your browser. We never see or store your keys. Managed API access is coming in a future update.
No. Audio is streamed directly to the transcription service and discarded immediately after processing. No audio recordings are stored on our servers or anywhere else. We follow a strict privacy-first approach.
Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Many states and countries require all-party consent. It's your responsibility to comply with local laws. We recommend posting a notice at your service counter and verbally informing customers. Check your state's recording consent requirements.
The extension has a built-in clipboard fallback. If it can't locate the repair order fields in the Tekmetric UI, it automatically copies the structured data to your clipboard so you can paste it manually. You never lose a check-in.
Deepgram Nova-3 provides 99%+ transcription accuracy for English. Claude AI extraction is highly accurate at identifying customer concerns, vehicle information, and symptoms. That said, we always recommend reviewing the extracted data before finalizing a repair order.
